Week 8: Twitter!

This week we were tasked with something quite unique! As part of our scicomm writing, we were asked to create an infographic to complement our writings, and naturally, I made mine about dog cloning. Sticking to the instructions, I tried to keep the amount of words in my image to a minimum while using as many visual aids as possible, emphasizing legibility.

It's been a long time since I've ever had the opportunity to make an infographic and I loved making this one! Graphic design is one of my passions and I made this using and adjusting images I found from Google.

However, wanting to communicate more complex topics in this same medium might prove difficult later on down the road. Despite that, I hope that we revisit this project soon and improve upon it with feedback from our peers. I think that even this visual medium is a great way to exercise our writing abilities, as it tests what we are able to communicate in the absence of words.
